Toolpath Optimization Algorithms
Standard CAM software packages generate toolpaths based on generic geometries, ignoring tool-holder deflection and workpiece resonant frequencies. Devartifex optimizes these coordinates. By simulating tool stiffness, the software varies step-overs and feed rates in real-time, preventing tool breakage and micro-fractures in carbide inserts.
The post-processor integrates clean kinematic logic directly, resulting in smoother transitions on 5-axis simultaneous movements.
Finite Element Modeling Integration
We combine G-code synthesis with physical finite element simulations. Before launching the spindle, the program calculates the mechanical load and temperature distribution at the tool-workpiece interface. Any potential stress concentration zones are corrected automatically by altering the cutting parameters.
- Stress prediction models for high-alloy tool steels (H13, D2).
- Backlash-free machining cycles for complex geometries.
